Recipe: Chinese Egg Rolls

Ingredients:

1 pound ground pork

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon cornstarch

Canola oil, for frying

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 head of cabbage, shredded

3 carrots, grated

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

10 fresh shiitake mushrooms, stems discarded and finely diced

1 tablespoon Chinese rice wine or dry sherry

1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce

1/4 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon sesame oil
